                     Despite much belief to the
                      contrary, the length of time you live together does not by
                      itself determine whether a common law marriage exists. No
                      state law or court decision says seven years or ten years
                      of cohabitation is all that is needed for a common law
                      marriage. It's only one factor the court may consider. 
                      
                    WHAT IS MATRIMONIAL SYSTEM?
                    Matrimonial regimes, or
                      marital property systems, are systems of property
                      ownership between spouses providing for the creation or
                      absence of a marital estate, and if created, what
                      properties are included in that estate, how and by whom it
                      is managed, and how it will be divided and inherited at
                      the end of the marriage.

                    Matrimonial causes are lawsuits for
                      divorce, judicial separation, nullity of marriage,
                      restitution of conjugal rights and for jactitation of
                      marriage. The English ecclesiastical judicial system

                    WHAT DOES MARRIAGE LEGALLY MEAN?
                    Definition of Marriage.
                      Marriage is the legal union of two people, who are joined
                      together after they obtain a marriage license from their
                      state and take part in a ceremony. ... In some states,
                      couples can become legally married without a license or
                      ceremony. This type of marriage is called a "common law"
                      marriage. 
                     
                    WHAT IS MATRIMONIAL PROPERTY?
                    Matrimonial property is property owned or
                      obtained by either or both married spouses before or
                      during their marriage. It is sometimes called 'matrimonial
                      assets.' Matrimonial property includes the matrimonial
                      home   the home that the couple lived in during their
                      marriage. 
                      
                    WHAT DOES FAMILY LAW MEAN?
                    Family law is a practice area
                        concerned with legal issues involving family
                        relationships, such as adoption, divorce, and child
                        custody. Attorneys practicing family law typically
                        handle divorce, child custody, child support, and other
